CUBA

Cuba is the largest island nation in the Caribbean, located south of United States and east of Mexico. Known for its vibrant culture, colonial architecture, and classic 1950s cars, Cuba blends Spanish heritage with strong Afro-Caribbean influences.

Its capital, Havana, is famous for colorful buildings, historic plazas, and the Malecón seaside promenade. The country features white-sand beaches, lush mountains like the Sierra Maestra, and fertile tobacco fields that produce world-renowned cigars.

Cuba has a socialist political system established after the 1959 revolution led by Fidel Castro. Spanish is the official language, and music and dance—such as salsa and son—are central to everyday life. Despite economic challenges, Cuba maintains strong traditions in education, healthcare, arts, and sports.
