Notice on E-Arrival Card Implementation(Effective February 24, 2025)
– The E-Arrival card is an online entry declaration form(free of charge) for travelers entering the Republic of Korea.
– (How to submit) Travelers can submit their E-Arrival card (3) three days prior to their entry date via website(www.e-arrivalcard.go.kr) or through the mobile web/ QR code.
– (Who needs to submit) All foreign nationals entering Korea are required to submit the E-Arrival Card.
1. Registered residents in Korea(including Permanent Resident Card and Overseas Korean Resident Card holders),
2. Valid K-ETA approval holders,
3. Airline crew member and etc.
– Travelers can submit the declaration form individually or by group.
– The declaration form may be accessed/viewed through the e-arrival card website, you may download the PDF or take a screenshot as reference upon completion.
– Declaration form will be sent to the registered email address.
– You are not required to carry a printed copy or hold a PDF file of your declaration for entry inspection.
Expansion Notice on the Simplification of Visa Application
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea would like to announce the expansion notice on visa document simplification for credit card holders of BPI, RCBC and Metrobank from July 22, 2-24 to December 31, 2025. The list of applicable credit cards are listed below.
Moreover, please be informed that bank certificates, bank statements, and ITR are the ONLY exempted or substituted documents in the said simplification process and all other general documents must still be submitted.

Notice on the Simplification of Visa Application Documents
• Applicable for :
– Members of the Senate, Members of the Congress, Governors, Provincial Board Members, and Mayors (City or Municipality)
– (Immediate family members) : One’s parents, spouse, minor children (applicable for adult children who can prove to be students through documents), spouse’s parents
• Required Visa Application Documents
– Identification documents (original copy) such as a certificate of employment or certificate of appointment
– Submission of bank certificates, bank statements, and ITR are exempted for the politician and family members. Other documents, such as proof of relationship, are required.
* Exempted documents may still be submitted if preferred
• Applicable for :
– Persons with a rank higher or equal to Assistant Secretary of the Executive Branch of the Philippine Government, and Brigadier General of the Armed Forces of the Philippines/Philippine National Police
* Excluding those in acting duties
– (Immediate family members) : One’s parents, spouse, minor children (applicable for adult children who can prove to be students through documents), spouse’s parents
• Required Visa Application Documents
– Certificate of employment (original)
* It is necessary to clearly specify the affiliated organization, working period, position, and salary. If the relevant information is omitted or cannot be verified due to a lack of contact with HR, disadvantages may be given to the applicant
– Submission of bank certificates, bank statements, and ITR are exempted for government officials and family members. Other documents, such as proof of relationship, are required.
